The third quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top 5 Idle RPG applications in New Zealand. Here we take a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users of these popular apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Idle Heroes - Idle Games experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $4.6K in mid-August and ending the quarter at around $4.5K. Weekly downloads showed a gradual decline from 200 in late June to 88 by the end of September. The weekly active users also saw a slight decrease, starting from 953 in late June and finishing the quarter at 783.

Super Snail saw a significant increase in weekly revenue, reaching a peak of about $5.8K at the end of August. However, weekly downloads dropped sharply from 6K in early August to below 100 by the end of September. The app's weekly active users followed a downward trend, decreasing from over 5.3K in mid-August to around 1.8K by the end of September.

Legend of Slime: Idle RPG War showed variable weekly revenue, peaking at $3.2K in mid-August and dropping to $1.7K by the end of September. Weekly downloads also declined from 686 in late June to 428 by the end of the quarter. The weekly active users fell from 3.4K in late June to around 1.8K by the end of September.

Overmortal had a steady but moderate revenue performance, peaking at $2.4K in mid-August and ending the quarter at around $960. Weekly downloads saw a significant drop from 128 in late June to below 50 by the end of September.

Smithing Master experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $2.4K in mid-September. Weekly downloads showed a mixed trend, starting at 356 in early July and ending at 234 by late September. The weekly active users also saw a general decline, from 346 in early July to 329 by the end of September.
